As a founder, Jianming Zhang worked as a miner in China Grey G603 quarry at age 12 in 1975. His 17 years of quarrying and stone industry experience as well as the flexible thinking mindset and analyzing ability enable him to identify and tell the stone quarry conditions, features and suitable application of the materials simply from a piece of 4” stone sample.
In 1992, Jianming opened his 1st factory, Hui’an Jianming Stone Co., Ltd, specialized in Japanese monuments. With limited knowledge in stone fabrication and strict quality requirements, no one knew what to do to meet the expectations at that time. However, Jianming never gave up. He gained all the fabrication skills, gave instructions to the workers and ran the fabrication shops methodically on his own. Hui’an Jianming Stone is one of the top 3 Japanese tombstone suppliers and is regularly supplying 50 containers to Japan monthly now.
In 2005, Jianming set up the 2nd factory, Nan’an Jianming Stone Co., Ltd, seeing the huge potential demand of the stone building materials with the rapid development of global economy. This factory is mainly specialized in stone projects for commercial, residential and religious etc. With affluent quarrying experience and strict quality concepts since 1992, he had a well-thought-out plan and knew exactly how to stand out in the construction stone building materials. Jianming is the pioneer of tombstones and stone building materials in local Quanzhou City.
